The Viña Vik La Piu Belle 2020 is a distinguished Chilean red wine blend from the Millahue Valley, crafted by the renowned Viña Vik winery. While “La più bella” also appears as the title of a 2020 song (La più bella della festa by Battista Lena), in the world of fine wine it is best known as one of Viña Vik’s signature cuvées - expressive, luxurious, and art-inspired.

Blend & Ageing

Grape Varietals: 68% Carmenère, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc

Ageing: The 2020 vintage is matured for 24 months in French oak barrels. Part of the wine is aged in Barroir barrels - French oak casks toasted using oak from the Vik estate itself - enhancing its complexity and sense of place.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Rich and inviting aromas of blackberries, prunes, and dark forest fruit, layered with notes of black pepper, spice, and subtle earthy tones.

Palate: Full-bodied and plush, offering flavours of dark berries, ripe plums, and warm spice. The texture is smooth yet structured, supported by polished tannins and balanced acidity.

Finish: Long and elegant, leaving a lingering impression of depth, refinement, and harmony.
