Moillard Chablis
€32.50
50ml, Burgundy, France
Produced by the historic Maison Moillard, a renowned wine house in Burgundy, Moillard Chablis is a classic expression of one of France’s most celebrated white wine regions. Made exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes, this dry white wine embodies purity, freshness, and minerality – hallmarks of the Chablis appellation.
Terroir & Character
The unique limestone soils of Chablis, rich in fossilised oyster shells dating back over 150 million years, give this wine its distinctive mineral and flinty edge. Combined with the cool Burgundian climate, the result is a crisp, elegant wine that perfectly captures the essence of its terroir.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Fresh citrus and green apple lead the way, layered with white flowers and subtle chalky minerality.
Palate: Bright and precise, with lively acidity and flavours of lemon, lime, and pear. The finish is clean and refreshing, leaving a lasting impression of purity and finesse.
Variations: Certain cuvées, such as the organic “Coquillage”, offer a creamier texture from lees ageing, developing richer notes of yellow apple, pineapple, and apricot.
